In this course you will learn about why understanding the names & attributes of Allah correctly is so important. The names or Allah are beautiful and have an impact on the worship of a person who understands them correctly.

And to Allah belong the most beautiful names, so worship Him through them. (Sūrat al-Aʿrāf, 7:180)

Unfortunately through the ages many differing forms of opinion regarding how to understand the names of Allah began to be aired. This led to much confusion and division that still continues to this day. This course will take a historical look into these issues, upon what are these opinions based and how did they spread throughout the Islamic world.

The Prophet (ṣalla'llāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said:

Allah has 99 names. Whoever enumerates them shall enter Jannah. (al-Bukhārī and Muslim)

Lets ensure that we understand the names and attributes of our Lord correctly so that we can know Allah in the way He described Himself. Join us in a theological history lesson that will open your eyes to truely understanding the Names & Attributes of Allah.
